How we check
Uses the dated schedule blocks on the NPS hours page. Open on a scheduled day that lists tour times; Closed on a day the published schedule says the visitor center is closed (for example Sunday and Monday in the off-season, or Thanksgiving, December 25 and January 1). Unknown if no dated block covers today, or if an NPS alert mentions a closure or cancellation. We check official sources about once a day; see our method.
